Description
Smart Traps
The intelligent traps installed in the field are devices with energy autonomy equipped with sensors capable of measuring biometric variables of target pests in order to identify them, and abiotic variables of their environment such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, among others. , and to wirelessly transmit this data to data analytics applications in the cloud.
How does it work
- Smart traps capture biometric information from pests and abiotic variables in the environment. They transmit them to the cloud.
- Analytical data applications process information, group, correlate and generate a database for consultation and emission of infestation alarms.
- Data mining applications process the information and identify to which species the insect belongs related to the processed biometric data.
