Knowing in advance where grapes reach the right maturation stage is a crucial factor in optimizing harvest. In fact, being able to make a differentiated vine-harvest, it is possible to grasp the grapes with the similar characteristics, improving the quality of the vine.

OMICAFARM® – PLAN – VINEYARDS serves to quantitively measure the behaviour of vineyards during the past seasons, identifying those areas that tend to produce more or those areas that reach before the maturation. The service can be combined with OMICAFARM – OBSERVE – VINEYARD in order to compare the current season with the previous one, giving the possibility to promptly intervene to improve the yield if some critical condition is repeated.

At the same time, historical analysis allows comparing the behaviour of the vineyard with respect to environmental conditions, especially extreme conditions. It is possible, in this way, to know in advance, with a good approximation, what kind of grapes will be produced and what actions shall be taken to avoid product or quality loss
